Guido Sanguinetti is a Reader in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. He holds an MSc in Physics from the University of Genova and a DPhil in Mathematics from the University of Oxford. His interests focus on computational statistical methods for dynamical systems, with a particular focus on problems in bioinformatics and systems biology. He has published over 50 papers in internationally leading peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is the recipient of an ERC Starting Grant, the 2013 PNAS Cozzarelli Prize in Engineering and Applied Science, and a QEST Best Paper award.
